Kaká pays tribute to boyhood club São Paulo

Real Madrid star Kaká has thanked his boyhood club São Paulo for making him the player his is today.

"Sao Paulo FC Thank you very much for caring and for everything you did and have done for me," Kaká wrote on his Twitter page.


The 28-year-old Brazilian signed his first professional contract with São Paulo at the age of 15 that he chose to focus on football.

He made a total of 58 appearances for the Tricolor, scoring 23 times.

In 2003, Kaká joined AC Milan for a fee of €8.5 million and the rest, as they say, is history.
