Valencia picked up their win in four weeks with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Getafe at the Mestalla.
Tino Costa opened the scoring for Valencia after just eight minutes when he controlled a pass from Juan Mata with his chest before lashing the ball home on the volley beyond the helpless Jordi Codina.
Valencia wrapped up the victory in the 63rd minute as David Navarro tucked home the rebound of his own header off a well-taken free kick by Costa.
