José Callejón scored a brace to give fifth-placed Espanyol a 2-1 victory at Sevilla to enhance their hopes of Champions League qualification.
Callejón opened the scoring four minutes before the interval and doubled the advantage with 11 minutes to play.
Substitute Álvaro Negredo gave Sevilla late hope of securing a point with an excellent volley late on, but Espanyol held on for the three points.
