Everything looked to be going according to plan for the visitors as Nani fired them in front after just three minutes with a shot Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey should have kept out.
But George Elokobi levelled for Wolves seven minutes later before Kevin Doyle grabbed the winner when he headed home Nenad Milijaš' free-kick just before the break.
