Comercial striker Elionar Bombinha has landed himself in hot water after a video emerged to show the forward celebrating a Corinthians goal against his team.

Last weekend in Brazil, Corinthians drew 3-3 at rock-bottom Comercial in the Campeonato Paulista in which Élton put Comercial ahead on 29 minutes, but a penalty from Emerson Sheik drew Corinthians level in the 34th minute.

And although there doesn't seem to be anything untoward going on at first, the replays clearly show Bombinha shaking his fists (in a celebratory way, not an angry way) and clapping his hands when the ball hit the back of the net.

Bombinha's actions were spotted by a number of people watching the game on television, but despite the seemingly damning evidence he has denied any wrongdoing, saying: "I have not celebrated the goal, otherwise why would I have celebrated the Comercial goals also."

You could be forgiven for thinking he's a Corinthians fan at heart or maybe he had money on Sheik to score at any time during the game.
