Champions League: Real Madrid 4-1 (agg 5-2) CSKA Moscow

Real Madrid progressed to the Champions League quarterfinals for the second straight season after easing past CSKA Moscow 4-1 at the Bernabéu.

Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Madrid the lead as Gonzalo Higuaín slotted home from Kaká's pull-back in the 26th minute.

CSKA goalkeeper Sergei Chepchugov gifted Madrid the second goal when he fumbled Cristiano Ronaldo's long-range shot on 55 minutes and Karim Benzema slotted home the third at the second attempt with 20 minutes remaining.

Zoran Tošić got a consolation for CSKA with a wonderful strike five minutes later, but Ronaldo ensured a 5-2 aggregate victory on the last move of the game.
