She's already known as one of the best women's goalkeepers in the world, if not the best, and it's moments like this one where she proves that statement.

With the USA up 1-0 just before halftime, Canada mounted one last attack.

Christine Sinclair unleashed a shot from 20 yards out that deflected off the sliding Amy LePeilbet, causing the ball to change direction as it skipped towards goal.

Though Solo was about to dive towards the far post to make the save, she somehow was able to put on the breaks, plant her foot and sprawl out to her left to make a miraculous one-handed save.

If that wasn't impressive enough, she then scrambled back up to grab the loose ball and hold off Kaylan Kyle who was challenging for the rebound.

Kyle's late challenge may gotten the ball over the line but, if it did, it's because she kicked the ball when Solo already had it in her hands.
