Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has voiced his dismay at the fact that Toni Kroos ended up at Real Madrid rather than at Barça.
Kroos moved to the Bernabéu from Bayern Munich in the summer and has quickly become one of Carlo Ancelotti's key players this season.
However, according to Cruyff, the German international would have chosen to move to Barcelona ahead of Madrid.
The Dutchman told Catalan radio station RAC1: "I do not understand why Kroos is not at the club.
"I have not spoken to him but I am aware of his feelings towards Barcelona. I do not know what happened, but he wanted to play here."
