Alberto Aquilani agrees new Roma deal

AS Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani has put pen to paper on a new deal which will keep him at the capital club until 2013.

Aquilani, whose contract was set to run out next summer, has been in negotiations with the Giallorossi for a number of months and the club announced on Tuesday the 24-year-old has finally agreed a new deal with the club.

Aquilani is set to earn €3.2m for this season, €3.6m for 2009/10, €3.9m for 2010/11 and €4.5m for the following two seasons after that.

The homegrown ace can also earn bonuses based on meeting certain performance targets.
