Maicon insists he has no intention of leaving Inter Milan this summer despite reported interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid to acquire his services.

The Brazilian right-back has been strongly linked with a move to England or Spain of late, with Chelsea reported to be leading the race for his signature.

Carlo Ancelotti, the AC Milan coach who is expected to join the Blues at the end of this season, is a big admirer of Maicon and has reportedly made as much known to his prospective new employers.

However, Maicon, who is under contract with the Italian champions until June 2013, has stressed his commitment to the Nerazzurri cause.

He told Corriere dello Sport: "There is a 100 per cent chance that I will stay here.

"Many players are attracted by the Premier League and La Liga, but I like Serie A.

"I am happy here because this club has allowed me to prove my worth domestically and in Europe.

"It is thanks to Inter that I have regained my place in the national side."
