Atlético Madrid's miserable start to the new La Liga campaign continued as they were held to a 1-1 home draw by 10-man Racing Santander.
The hosts took the lead in the 43rd minute when José Manuel Jurado rifled a left-footed shot into the right side of the goal from a set piece.
But Óscar Serrano equalised for Racing on the stroke of half-time when he ran onto Alexandre Geijo's pass and fired past Sergio Asenjo.
