Italian champions Inter Milan defeated Premier League leaders Chelsea 2-1 in their Champions League last-16 first-leg tie at the San Siro.
Diego Milito put his team 1-0 up in the third minute before Salomon Kalou equalised with what could eventually prove a crucial away goal early in the second period.
Inter, though, earned a narrow win thanks to Esteban Cambiasso's excellent strike and former Chelsea manager José Mourinho will therefore return to West London on 16th March with a degree of belief.
