AS Roma kept up the pace in the Serie A title race as they came away from Bologna with a 2-0 victory.
The Giallorossi broke the deadlock in the 48th minute when John Arne Riise got behind Daniele De Rossi's pass and fired a left-footed strike from the heart of the area to beat Bologna keeper Emiliano Viviano.
And substitute Júlio Baptista put the game beyond Bologna's reach in the 82nd minute following a near-perfect setup from Alessio Cerci.
