Real Madrid ensured the La Liga title race would go to the final week with a 5-1 rout of 10-man Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabéu.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute in an incident that also saw Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta sent-off.
Francisco Yeste threatened to ruin Real's night when he lashed home a leveller before half-time, but a goal blitz saw Gonzalo Higuaín, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema and Marcelo score in the final 13 minutes earned the home side their 10th home win in 11 meetings with Bilbao.
