Bayern Munich got their Champions League campaign up and running thanks to a hard-fought 2-0 home win over AS Roma.
The German champions broke the deadlock after 78 minutes when Thomas Müller bent the ball beautifully into the far corner using the outside of his boot after Daniel Van Buyten's knock-down.
And Miroslav Klose put the game to bed as he latched onto Holger Badstuber's free-kick four minutes later.
