Chelsea carried their unstoppable domestic form into Europe as they easily beat MŠK Žilina 4-1 in their Champions League Group F opener in Slovakia.

The English champions raced into a 3-0 lead inside 30 minutes against tournament newcomer Žilina thanks to Michael Essien opener and a Nicolas Anelka brace.

Daniel Sturridge added a fourth three minutes after the re-start before Tomáš Oravec pulled a consolation back on 55 minutes.
