Romanian minnows CFR Cluj got off to a flying start with a 2-1 victory over FC Basel in their Champions League Group E opener.
The damage was done inside the opening 12 minutes as headers from Ionuţ Rada and the giant Lacina Traoré put Cluj on course for a maximum haul.
Valentin Stocker's goal on the stroke of half-time gave Basel hope of an unlikely comeback but the Swiss side could not find an equaliser.
