Auxerre kept alive their hopes of an extended run in the Champions League with a hard-fought 2-1 home triumph over Ajax Amsterdam.
The French side took the lead on nine minutes when Frédéric Sammaritano's 20-yard strike took a slight deflection off Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen into the bottom corner.
Toby Alderweireld headed Ajax level with 10 minutes to go, but just four minutes later second-half substitute Steeven Langil charged clear to slot home a crucial winner.
