Ten-man Lazio stretched their lead in the Serie A standings to four points with a 1-0 win away to Palermo.
The only goal of the game came in the 27th minute when André Dias volleyed Cristian Ledesma's free-kick past Salvatore Sirigu from eight yards out.
Giuseppe Biava was sent off in the 77th minute but, even with a one-man advantage, the Rosaneri were unable to find a way past Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
