Sergio Agüero scored a brace as Atlético Madrid ended their two-match losing run with a 2-0 win over Deportivo La Coruña at Vicente Calderón.
Diego Forlán missed a fourth-minute penalty for Atlético but it mattered little as Agüero struck in three minutes later with a fine individual goal to put the Rojiblancos ahead.
Agüero made it 2-0 in the 35th minute when he coolly slid his shot past Daniel Aranzubia after being found by Raúl García.
