Russia lost to Spain in the 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifiers on Sunday, but they quickly set aside their own upset by helping teammate Anton Shkarin propose to his girlfriend after the whistle.
Standing in the centre of the pitch and wearing adidas tracksuits, the team held up cards spelling out "Pankova, will you marry me?" in Russian.
Shkarin's blonde girlfriend happily wasted no time in giving her answer, hopping over the advertising barriers to slap a wet one on her future husband's kisser.
