Olof Mellberg leaves Juve for Olympiakos

Olympiakos have completed the €2.5million signing of Sweden defender Olof Mellberg from Juventus.
The 31-year-old sealed the move on Tuesday, passing a medical and penning a three-year contract.
Mellberg joined the Bianconeri last summer as a free agent from Aston Villa and made 27 Serie A appearances for the Turin giants.
"After one season, Juventus salute Olof Mellberg," read a statement on the club's official website, www.juventus.it.
"The Swedish defender leaves the Bianconeri to join Greek club Olympiakos on a permanent transfer for a €2.5million fee."
