Gestifute, the company that represents Cristiano Ronaldo, claim that the Portugal star has given no interviews regarding his potential move to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo had been quoted in News Of The World as saying he did not move to the Spanish giants merely for money.
However, Gestifute have issued a statement reiterating that the player has not spoken to the press.
A press release on the company's official website read: "Given the insistent manner in which quotes allegedly belonging to Cristiano Ronaldo have been made public, especially in the British media, Gestifute reiterates what we had recently announced: Cristiano Ronaldo has been silent since he went on holiday, and all statements (in which he is supposedly quoted) are totally false and abusive.
"The best player in the world - who is now resting in the company of his family - has not, to date, given any interviews, nor will he in the next few days.
"As a result, it can be restated here that any statements that are still being attributed to him are devoid of truth and authenticity and must not be taken seriously."
