Olympique Lyon have signed Aly Cissokho from FC Porto for a €15 million fee.
The 21-year-old left-back has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the deposed French champions after passing a medical.
Although Cissokho's move to AC Milan in June collapsed due to a failed medical, Lyon team doctor Emmanuel Ohrant has given the player the all clear.
A clause has been included in the deal which will entitle Porto to 20 percent of any future transfer fee for Cissokho should he be sold by Lyon.
Such business would prove remarkable as Porto only signed the former Gueugnon player in January for a mere €300,000 from Vitória Setúbal.
Cissokho is Lyon's third close-season signing after striker Lisandro López and left-winger Michel Bastos.
