Agent dismisses Chelsea-Mexès link

Philippe Mexès' agent, Olivier Joanneaux, has played down suggestions the AS Roma defender is set for a move to Chelsea.
Reports suggest the Blues are preparing a bid of €14 million plus centre-back Ricardo Carvalho in exchange for Mexès.
However, Joanneaux insists the 27-year-old France international is not poised to join Chelsea.
He told tuttomercatoweb.com: "Chelsea? Personally at least, I do not think there is any truth to it.
"Is there any news in general regarding my client? Not as far as I know, or rather Roma want to keep the player who, in turn, is fully focused on the new season that is about to start."
