Sampdoria continued their stunning start to the Serie A season with a 4-1 home victory over Siena.
Angelo Palombo gave Sampdoria the lead int the 23rd minute and Daniele Mannini doubled the lead eight minutes later.
Substitute Marco Padalino made an immediate impact to bag the third three minutes after the break before Michele Fini pulled one back for the visitors midway through the second half.
Padalino completed the rout with his second goal of the contest five minutes from time.
