Football fan juggles ball around London

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

An English football fan has set a new world record by juggling a ball while visiting every top-flight stadium in London.

Dan Magness visited every Premier League stadium while keeping the ball off the ground and under control at all times by tapping it up into the air using all parts of his body except his hands.

The feat was the longest ever recorded journey while continuously kicking or heading a ball in the air.

Mr Magness, 26, began juggling the ball at Fulham's Craven Cottage home at 8am on Tuesday and finished at 10pm on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane.

His spokesman said: "Dan is exhausted but had an amazing time. He absolutely loved it."

Mr Magness broke the Guinness World Record for controlling a football in the air in May last year when he kept it off the ground for 24 hours.

Now he is plotting his route as he aims to become the first person to visit every Premier League club in the country while juggling a ball.

The spokesman added: "The record is going to carry on. This was the most challenging part - visiting five London clubs in one day."
