Manchester City have an additional fixture in their schedule after being held to a 1-1 draw by battling Stoke City at Eastlands.
Shaun Wright-Phillips opened the scoring in fortuitous style for the hosts in the 11th minute after latching onto Stephen Ireland's long-ball and chipping Stoke keeper Thomas Sørensen.
Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross then missed his attempted clearance and as he fell over managed to head it for Wright-Phillips to tap into the net.
The Potters forced the replay, though, when Rory Delap's trademark long throw found the head of Ricardo Fuller on 57 minutes.
