Birmingham City rallied from two goals down to earn a deserved 2-2 draw with Europe-chasing rivals Everton at St Andrews.

The hosts looked in danger of surrendering their six-month unbeaten home record after Victor Anichebe and Yakubu had put the visitors two goals to the good inside the opening 22 minutes.

But Cameron Jerome's third goal in the past two games gave the Blues a lifeline on 26 minutes before winter signing Craig Gardner hit an equaliser early in the second period.
