Carlo Ancelotti keen on Fernando Torres signing

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he would like to have Liverpool ace Fernando Torres in his squad.

Torres' future at Anfield has been the subject of conjecture in recent weeks following Liverpool's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League and their much-publicised financial problems.

Blues star Didier Drogba fuelled rumours of a move for Torres by revealing earlier this week that he he would love it if the Spaniard jumped ship to Stamford Bridge this summer.

"It's not only Drogba - I would like to play with Torres. He's a very good player," Ancelotti said in The Sun.

"But this is not an issue for now. He is a Liverpool player and is a good striker but we have two fantastic strikers and this is not for this moment."
