World Cup 2010 Group B: Greece 0-2 Argentina

Martín Demichelis and Martín Palermo scored second-half goals to help Argentina complete a flawless Group B campaign with a 2-0 victory over Greece in Polokwane.

Argentina broke the deadlock in the 77th minute when Demichelis lashed home after his header bounced off team-mate Diego Milito and back into his path.

Palermo made it 2-0 in the closing minutes as the veteran striker rolled the ball into an empty net after Greece goalkeeper Alexandros Tzorvas had saved a Lionel Messi effort.

Argentina will now play Mexico in the round of 16 in Johannesburg on Sunday.
