Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that highly-rated centre-back Simon Kjær could leave the club this summer.

Kjær is attracting interest from across Europe with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with the Denmark international.

And Zamparini thinks it is time to sell the youngster, especially given Kjær is in the shop window at this summer's World Cup.

"In my opinion, when certain offers arrive, it's necessary for the player to leave," Zamparini told GR Parlamento.

"A couple of quite important offers have come in. We are discussing them then I will call the player.

"I must find a replacement. Kjær's valuation is between €15 million and €20 million."

Zamparini gave a rough indication of where the 21-year-old may head next.

He added: "I know there have been talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and VfL Wolfsburg, but I don't know about Inter Milan. I have not spoken with them."

The chief's words are likely to come as a surprise to Kjær, who on Monday said he wanted to stay at Palermo.
