South Korea kicked off their World Cup campaign in Group B with a convincing 2-0 win over a lackluster Greece side at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

It took the 2002 semi-finalists just seven minutes to open the scoring when Lee Jung-Soo stole in at the far post to side-foot home Ki Sung-Yong's free-kick from the left.

Greece fell further behind in the 52nd minute as Park Ji-Sung cashed in on a blunder from Loukas Vyntra to jink past the defence and neatly slide the ball past goalkeeper Alexandros Tzorvas.
