Rafael van der Vaart scored his first Premier League goal as Tottenham Hotspur claimed a hard-fought 3-1 home success over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs dominated possession throughout the game, however, after a host of chances the visitors struck with just minutes before the half-time whistle through a Steven Fletcher tap-in.
However, Wolves let their lead slip through their fingertips late on when a Stephen Ward challenge on Alan Hutton in the box led to a van der Vaart equaliser from the spot.
Roman Pavlyuchenko then capitalised on a loose ball with three minutes to go before a defensive mix-up in the Wolves defence gifted Hutton a goal in stoppage-time.
