Gareth Bale hit a stunning hat-trick as Tottenham Hotspur rallied only to lose 4-3 to Champions League holders Inter Milan at the San Siro.
Spurs were left shocked by three Inter goals in the first 14 minutes via a Javier Zanetti opener, a Samuel Eto'o penalty - after Heurelho Gomes had been sent off - and Dejan Stanković.
Eto'o then notched his second of the night on 35 minutes to leave the home side well on top at the break.
But Harry Redknapp's men produced a spirited comeback in the second period with Bale hitting a hat-trick (52, 90, 91) as the Londoners slumped to their first Champions League Group A defeat.
