Real Sociedad ended a run of three straight defeats after beating Espanyol 1-0 thanks to a late bizarre own goal from visiting defender Juan Forlín.
The decisive goal came in the 85th minute when Forlín inadvertently put the ball into his own net as he acrobatically tried to clear the danger after Jeffrey Sarpong's free-kick had come back off the woodwork.
