Aston Villa allowed victory to slip from their grasp following the thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Villa Park.
The Midlands club looked on course to secure their first home league victory against the Red Devils in 15 years after Ashley Young's penalty and Marc Albrighton's effort put them 2-0 ahead in the 76th minute.
But United refused to lie down and cut the deficit through substitute Federico Macheda in the 81st minute before Nemanja Vidić headed home the equalizer soon after.
