AC Milan moved to within two points of Serie A leaders Lazio by claiming a 3-2 win over Bari away from home.
The took an early grip on the contest and went into half-time with a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Massimo Ambrosini and Mathieu Flamini.
Former Milan player Vitali Kutuzov pulled a goal back for Bari in the 65th minute but Alexandre Pato restored the two-goal advantage when he added a third shortly after.
Paulo Barreto set up a nervy finish when he volleyed Bari's second goal in the final minute, but despite a grandstand finish the goal proved nothing more than a consolation.
