Former Belgian professional footballer Jonathan de Falco has taken the unprecedented step of swapping football boots for gay porn shoots.
The former Racing Mechelen player was forced to quit the game this year due to injury and is now known in gay porn circles as Stany Falcone.
"Previously I had a girlfriend, but I always felt attracted to men. I never hid. Since I was 20 I have been in gay circles, but when I played football, nobody noticed anything."
Unfortunately, the adult film star also had a word of warning for other footballers thinking of coming out in the sport.
He added: "If my orientation would have been known, there would have undoubtedly problems. The football world is not ready for gay players. There is too much prejudice and generally low tolerance."
The 27-year-old is enjoying being a porn star and has appeared in productions in Europe, England and the USA.
De Falco said: "I felt more and more content with who I really was.
"I had to really go on, but after a conversation with the club, we agreed that I should leave the club earlier and I would change my life."
