Serie A: Genoa 0-2 AC Milan

Saturday, December 3, 2011

Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimović and Antonio Nocerino helped AC Milan beat 10-man Genoa 2-0 away at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris to provisionally move top of Serie A.

The visiting side opened the scoring after 55 minutes when Kakha Kaladze conceded a penalty after picking up a second yellow and consequent red card for a clumsy challenge on Ibrahimović, who stepped up himself to send his spot-kick powerfully past Sébastien Frey.

And Nocerino sealed the three points for Milan with a simple tap-in from Kevin-Prince Boateng's cross in the 79th minute.
