A lone goal from Diego Milito was enough to earn Inter Milan a 1-0 derby triumph over local rivals AC Milan and move within six points of the Serie A summit.
The decisive goal came in the 54th minute when Milito found the bottom corner of the net after seizing on an error from Milan defender Ignazio Abate.
