A brilliant goal from teenage winger Jean-Paul Boëtius helped Feyenoord Rotterdam to a 2-1 success away at Heerenveen on Sunday.
Looking ahead to the match in on Friday, Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman remarked on how self-assured Boëtius had been during the week's training.
And the 19-year-old winger lived up to his coach's billing by opening the scoring nine minutes into the match at the Abe Lenstra Stadion.
Boëtius sublimely chipped the ball over Kristoffer Nordfeldt with his left foot after the goalkeeper had initially stopped Graziano Pellè's effort.
Lex Immers doubled Feyenoord's lead seven minutes later and, although Sven van Beek scored an own goal on the stroke of half-time, Heerenveen were unable to find an equaliser.
