World Cup qualifier: Wales 1-3 Russia

Russia maintained the pressure on Germany at the top of Group 4 with a 3-1 victory at Wales.

Igor Semshov opened the scoring in the 36th minute before James Collins flicked home a 54th-minute equaliser to give Wales hope.

Russia went back in front via a Sergei Ignashevich free-kick on 71 minutes and Roman Pavlyuchenko sealed the three points in stoppage time to stay within a point of Germany with two games remaining.
