Serie A: AC Milan 2-1 AS Roma

Monday, October 19, 2009

AC Milan ended a four match run without a win with a 2-1 victory over AS Roma at the San Siro.

Jérémy Menez fired the visitors in front after three minutes when he pounced on a defensive mix up between Thiago Silva and Alessandro Nesta, raced into the area and slotted the ball past Dida.

But Milan responded and turned the match around with Ronaldinho scoring from the penalty spot on 57 minutes and Alexandre Pato claiming the winner 23 minutes from time.

The Rossoneri had to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men after Massimo Ambrosini was sent off for elbowing Nicolás Burdisso but held on for the win.
