Serie A: Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

Inter Milan ended 2009 with an eight-point lead at the top of the Serie A table after a narrow 1-0 win over Lazio at the San Siro.

Samuel Eto'o scored the lone goal of the match in 14th minute when he reacted quickest to lash home past Fernando Muslera after his initial header had been stopped by the goalkeeper.
