AC Milan missed a chance to go second in Serie A as they were held to a draw at home to struggling Lazio.
The home side took the lead in the 17th minute when Marco Borriello netted from the penalty spot after Aleksandar Kolarov was judged to have fouled Mathieu Flamini in the area.
Lazio equalised 14 minutes later as Stephan Lichtsteiner capitalised on a hash clearance from Milan defender Luca Antonini.
