Youngster Álvaro Vázquez scored the only goal of the game on a dream debut to give Espanyol a 2-1 home win over 10-man Osasuna.
The hosts were playing with an extra man from the 21st minute onwards following the sending-off of Lolo and Vázquez took full advantage as he pounced on a poor clearance to score the winning goal on 24 minutes.
