Champions League Group G: Ajax 2-1 Auxerre

Ajax Amsterdam moved level on points with AC Milan in Group G of the Champions League after a 2-1 victory over Auxerre at the Amsterdam Arena.
The home side were 2-0 up and seemingly coasting to victory at half-time after stunning strikes from Demy de Zeeuw and Luis Suárez put the hosts in control.
Valter Birsa then curled home a lovely free-kick for Auxerre after André Ooijer was dismissed for pulling down Dennis Oliech as the striker ran clean through on goal.
But their hopes of a comeback were ended with the late dismissal of Oliech, while substitute Jean-Pascal Mignot also saw red despite not even being on the pitch.
