Jack Collison volleyed West Ham ahead but Lukas Podolski equalised from distance before Olivier Giroud put the hosts in front just after the restart.

And before the visiting side could mount a comeback, it was 3-1 on 53 minutes.

Theo Walcott got away down the right, before the ball was recycled back to Podolski on the other flank.

The German then exchanged pass with Giroud on the edge of the area before forcing the ball across goal for Cazorla to convert.

It looked as if Joey O'Brien would thwart Cazorla but, showing breathtaking improvisation, he adjusted his feet and back-heeled the ball into the net.

Walcott then added a fourth from a counter-attack before Giroud side-footed home to complete the rout.
