Ronaldinho to discuss future with AC Milan

Monday, March 30, 2009

AC Milan superstar Ronaldinho has hinted he could leave the Italian giants at the end of the current campaign.

The Brazilian playmaker, who was linked with Manchester City in the summer, has scored just nine times this season and has looked increasingly unsettled at San Siro.

He impressed in the first half of the season, but fitness worries have seen the former Barcelona ace drop down to the bench with only 16 Serie A starts.

"This season has not been positive for me," he told Il Corriere dello Sport. "But I am a professional and I still want to help Milan achieve their objectives.

"Until the end of the season, I do not want to talk about my future.

"Once the season is finished, I want a meeting with the directors of Milan."

The news could revive City's interest, but the forward's brother and agent, Roberto De Assis, insists any possible move will come down to Milan.

He said: "Some clubs have asked me about him and his situation, but any move depends on Milan."
